Her we have my version of the SAL. Done on Sassy's Hand painted Fabric witch was a gift to me. Color was Thistle Blossom. Thread is Anchor # 1325 witch was also a gift. This took me about two days to finish and now I think it will be put onto a box. Thank you ladies of the group whom did this SAL with me. As always it was great fun and this is one of them patterns that I would do again.
The 4 trees are by M Designs -- there's Gary's Tree, Karen's Tree, Missy's Tree and Rodney's Tree. "Time" is by Little Leaf Designs -- a lot of satin stitching in that one, rather than cross stitching...was fun to do.
The fourth and final one is finished! This one is for me - I tried to make it look like my new home. It's stitched with DMC threads on 14ct baby blue aida.
I was so glad to be able to stitch this design. We just moved into our new home. I changed it a bit to make it my own. Our house has a green door so just had to put that. Brown Roof. Jeremiah's favorite color is green so I used green for the words. I didn't put the chimney cause we don't have one. No border. So mine is definately mine.
Well, here is my Fall SAL finish -- this is Pumpkins by Little House Needleworks. A relatively easy stitch, as most LHNs are, but fun nevertheless.....
I stitched my second "No Place Like Home" by Pine Mountain Designs on 14ct Parchment aida with DMC threads. Originally, I stitched the windows in white, but they looked a bit bright to me, so I frogged them and stitched them in 677 (a pale yellow). It took about the same amount of time to stitch up as the first one (7.5 hours), but with the frogging it was more like 8 hours.
Well, here is my progress so far on my version of our Fall SAL....this is "Pumpkins" by Little House Needleworks. Haven't gotten very far yet, but it's a start!
I received "No Place Like Home" by Pine Mountain Designs from Lisa who received the PIF from Angie. Next, it's going to Katie.
I totally changed the colors on it as well as left off some elements. I stitched it on 14ct Parchment aida with Six Strand Sweets floss. It took me 7.25 hours over 2 days to stitch up. I'm going to be making it into a flatfold soon.
Done on 14 count adia fabric Hand dyed a light green by me used all the DMC floss that pattern called for. Completed on 7-30-07 Have decided to make mine a pillow.
