Beth's WIP monday

I'm still working on the 4th of the four mini samplers on Deftly Wrought. Stitching time has become very precious because of all the problems I've been having with my eyes. I'm hoping to get that all straightened out and be able to finish this project in the next week.

I know this is Tuesday. I did not stop stitching last night to make sure I got my picture taken, loaded to the computer, and posted to the blog. I STITCHED for a few minutes. Looking forward to some stitching time this weekend. I think I need to hurry up and get some stitching done before the madness of March sets in around here - and I do NOT mean College Basketball Fever. I think I could really use a HUGE snowstorm on a Sunday night that keeps us all (including Amanda) stuck here for at least a day or two! Right now, though, it's a balmy 48. We're supposed to get SNOW tonight, but I don't understand how THAT will happen with the temperature so high!

Well, enough of my rambling. Off to get more stitching done!

Hi I finally have a WIP I can check in. I worked on the Pirate Dragon from HAED this weekend. I got 400 stitches added. So I have a total of 5,120 in and 42,795 left to go.

Here is the Master Chef finished tonight. I made a few mistakes in colors but you could never tell. I reposted the Chief Taster (finished last week) so you can see them together.

Next is to do an envlope.

Kathie's Friday Finish!

Here's my Friday finish. I actually finished the stitching on Sunday or Monday, ironed it the same night, and added the buttons on Tuesday. I haven't decided for sure how I'm finishing it, but it will be my entry for Petra's New Year's contest. I had fun getting this done!

I think I might make this into some type of banner that I can hang on the door or in the entry way. I need some really festive fabric to make that happen. Surely there is SOMEthing around here that will work!

It will be a long time before I have another finish, so I'm "basking in the glory" today!

Two done

I did the tweedy wall hanging for my mom's birthday. I will be giving it to her some time this weekend. She is crazy about tweedy so I'm hoping she will like this. Thank you to Barb for providing me with a copy of the Tweedy alphabet.

Here is my Computer monitor by Calico Cross Roads. I did the frame in plastic canvas and that fuzzy yarn. This will be on it's way to some one very special to me. Can't tell ya whom that is till it reaches that person. Watch my blog for updates on this one.

This is Computer Monitor by Calico CrossRoads and the frame is being done in plastic canvas. I started the Computer Monitor on Monday and the frame on Sunday. Hope to have both done by this weekend.

This snow man was from my Guess that actor prize in the Name that game from the board. He worked up fairly quickly. That was my first finish for 2008 the first week I think.

Chief Taster is on a Kitchen Towel. Supposed to be on a childs apron but I have another towel that I will be putting Master Chef on. Starting that tomorrow.

1/7/08 I'm SO excited to have this much done! This is my start on JABC's freebie "Get This Party Started. My goal is to put in at least one length of floss a day. I've done okay so far, but the reality of life may keep me from keeping up. There is a lot more stitching than I originally thought in this piece!
