Kathie's WIPs
Well, it's time for me to finally post a few WIP pics. I have three things that have not sat long enough to be UFOs yet. I'm working diligently on Boo! Eek! Hiss! in the three separate pieces after having stitched it as a single design earlier this year. I worked on it Saturday while riding the bus to North Hills for the first band festival of the evening. I had my mini-clip-on lamp with me and tried to do some stitching on the way from NH to Peters Township for the second festival, but the bumpiness of the bus ride made it nearly impossible. My age is catching up with me and I just can't see the evenweave on a moving bus in the dark! HMMPH! Anyhow, I also have a start on "In the Pumpkin Patch" by Blue Ribbon Designs and the Witches Sampler from Cross Stitch & Country Crafts magazine from goodness knows how long ago. I think they stopped publishing that mag at least 5-6 years ago! Karen, Jana, and Barb have contributed to this project--they each stitched a witch when we were in a RR together a long, long time ago - like 2006, ladies??? I remember only because I worked on the hedgehog that was Barb's piece while I was cooped up in the house in Virginia Beach while Hurricane Alberto dumped 8 inches of rain in less than 24 hours. So, anyhow, enough of my rambling. They're here. I think they speak for themselves. I don't think there's much progress on the witches sampler since the last time I posted it here.

WIP - Finish it Friday- BAP SAL
This is my first time posting here, hope I did it right!
First off is my WIP...the Stoney Creek Penguin Christmas Stocking....love the stocking...hate working with the Krenik thread. Luckily someone suggested I use something called Thread Heaven which is this stuff that keeps the threads together for awhile anyway.
Finally finished the first of the Halloween Ornies in JCS. Only finished stitching. Can't find the spider unless I order it online so I just may make my own from polymer clay.
And this...well this is my BAP....Village of Hawk Run Hollow...not much done but it's a start.
That's it for now!! Lucy
