My Monday WIP

Hello Everyone! My name is Iza and I'm new to CSF. I'm doing a weekly rotation with four pieces: HAED - Caelia and Violet Angel, Mirabilia - Rose of Sharon and Nimue - Victoria.
This is my progress with Violet Angel by HAED after 10 hour of stitching:

My new WIPS

Here is what I have been working on since Christams. They are Angels by Ruth Hanke. I am not sure that the pattern is avaliable any more. I have done the two 3" ones to the point of cutting. That will be done when they all are ready to be cut. The colours are hard to see with the pics I know.

This first one is with Caron Wildflowers Delphinium and cream accenting.



This one here is white with blue accenting.



These little ones take about 3 hours to do. Now I am ready to go do the 3 1/2" ones.

Thanks to the horrible weather this weekend, was able to quickly finish my quick stitch for the weekend...this is from Handblessings Patterns and is called Heart Flag.

My finishes for the month

Ok around the 7 of the month I finished "PEACE" by M Design for a friend of mine. She wanted it for a Christmas present. WELL I got an order for two more. Only problem is I can't get the card blanks. I used DMC Variations number 4030 and Mill Hill Tapestry Teal beads.

The blue biscornu is one that I did a free ornament pattern for and then made the bottom . The red one is the Pointsettia Biscornu from the JCS Ornamnet 2008 issue. The designer is Kitty and Me. I used 32 ct Mint Green material, DMC red (4200) and green(4045) for the pattern (I think that is the green), Mill Hill 02011 beads.

2 New Finishes

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted here. I always forget to. :op I seem to have enough problems remembering to update my own blog. Anyway, I do come here to read and look. :o)
I have had 2 recent finishes. One was a birth record for my new little great niece. She is the first great (niece or nephew) on DH's side of the family. I found this Hello Kitty chart on a freebie site several years ago and had it saved on a cd. I thought it would make a nice, quick, girly birth record. :o) It did stitch up pretty quick. In the picture it isn't framed yet. I just stuck it in there without the glass in the frame so I could take a pic. We'll see if it goes in that straight when I do frame it. :op (yeah, it's still not in the frame)


I also finished an ornament for an ornament SAL. This is a freebie from Stitchy Kitty (click on name for link) called Santa Paw. I actually got 12 ornaments stitched! (not finished though.....next year)

Another WIP

Well here is the top to my red biscornu. This took me about 2.5 days to do. This is the Poinsettia Biscornu designed by Kitty & Me found in the JCS Christmas Ornaments 2008 issue. The floss is 4200 (red) and 4045 (green). The beads are Mill Hill #02011. The pattern called for white but I decided to change it.

New Finish and a New WIP

Ok tonight I finished the top of my Pink Poinsettia Biscornu from the JCS 2008 Christmas Ornament issue.Here is the pic of it. I used Mint Green Linen, DMC Variations numbers 4180 (pink) & 4045 (green) the beads were Mill Hill Seed beads # 02011.


So since that was finished I just had to start the red one. And here is my progress on that one tonight. I am using DMC Variations numbers 4045 (green) and 4200 (reds).



Not sure which one I like better. I think it is the red one.

New Finish

Here is my latest finish as of 11:30 this morning. I just now have to make it into a card. It is M Design's "PEACE" using DMC Verigated #4030.
