Dawn's friday Finish

Oh and it's Friday too, so that's a two pointer. Hadn't even thought of that till just now. Hope you all had an enjoyable 4th of July. I sat around the house with oldest son and DBF. Seeing as I have to work tomorrow we are not doing anything tonight. Anyways I finished another Britty Kitty from my RAK gift. You can't see it in the photo but I used some of that Kreinik Blending Filament #092 in with the pink to give it some sparkle.

Next up will be Lizzie Kate- Hooray for the USA as I have decided to make me a 4th of July tree for next year. So far I have found about 4 designs to do up for this. Keep checking and see what I do.

Thanks for stopping by.

2 Finishes and a WIP

Here is my second Baby blanket. I am doing the 4 corners and the 2 center squares just for something different. This is square #2. The second fish. The green fish is the first center square. I did him 4 times. He is full of mistakes but I was not taking him out again. You would never know unless you had the pattern right there and did a line by line search.

Here is the first corner. This little fish was a fairly quick stitch only took me two days.

Kathie's NEW Friday Finish

This one is L*K's Life's a Stitch and was another "waiting room project" while at Physical Therapy at the chiropractor's office. I really enjoyed this one. I considered leaving the satin stitch off, but I really like the way it came out. I did stitch one Sunday evening at "The French Knot" while Lizzie was at youth group, but the rest was all waiting for the doctor. Waited one day for 45 minutes (never in 5 years that long!) and got treated to a 30-minute massage for being patient! It's hard to tell in this picture, but the fabric is actually an olive green color from Silkweaver. I love, love, love their fabrics! I have one of their "solos" for my "In the Pumpkin Patch" from Blue Ribbon Designs.

Kathie's Friday Finish (OLD)

This is "Liberty" by Heart in Hand and was finished on April 4th! I'm finally getting around to posting it to the blog. I still have to find a star-shaped button to go in the lower right corner, but the stitching is all done. I worked on this strictly in the waiting room and treatment room at the chiropractor. This is a direct result of my moving adventures. Not bad for always on the run. I used a few scraps of WDW or GAST (can't remember) threads that looked close to what was in the picture. I only had one of the two blues called for in the color key. For some reason, the blue strip down the side is done in a different color of blue than the lettering and the strip across the middle. One of the chiropractors actually took an interest in tracking my progress each time he saw me working on this!

My Finish it Friday

This was a SMO group freebie. When I started it I thought this was gonna be a book mark but turns out it was to wide for that. I got on Focus on finishing and found this No sew tutorial. I used that to guide me along and without having any fussable web I just glued it all together. There is a lace outline of the pink part but it didn't show up to well in the photo. Still have to paint the hanger and put on the thread for hanging. I haven't had a finish it Friday in a very long time,Here is what I finished.
